Danielle is a former competitive artistic gymnast. She went on to study Theatre Dance BA (Hons) at London Studio Centre, specialising in contemporary dance. Whilst at RoguePlay Theatre, Danielle furthered her training in circus, specialising in acrobatics, hand balancing, contortion, aerial hoop and dance trapeze. Danielle works as a freelance dance/circus artist. She has toured nationally with Lost In Translation Circus. She has performed with Muzo Dance Theatre Company in Italy. Some of the theatres that Danielle has performed at include Lilian Baylis Studio, The Roundhouse, Jackson’s Lane, Broadway Theatre, Ambika P3, Battersea Arts Centre, Southwark Platform, Artsdepot, The New Wimbledon Theatre, Norwich Theatre Royal, The Rose Theatre and The Place. In circus, dance and visual arts Danielle is drawn to expression, physicality, imagination and ingenuity. Multidisciplinary art inspires her as a creator and she is always excited to collaborate with other artists! 

Danielle is currently in R&D with Lavrak Circus. Ou est sa Tête sees two professional circus artists explore how their bodies are perceived in the performance context. This project is kindly supported by Stanley Arts Centre London, Creat Valencia and Circomedia Volt Bristol.  

 

Danielle will be joining Mimbre Acrobatic Theatre and Daryl Beeton Productions on new Co Production Look Mum, No Hands!
